PE Kit

The EYFS and Key Stage 1 children in Ocean Class 1 and Rainforest Class 2 will require:

  • Black or navy shorts or jogging bottoms
  • Plain white t-shirt or polo shirt
  • White sports socks
  • Trainers to use inside and / or outside
  • School royal blue sweatshirt or hoody with or without school logo.Ìý
  • Named PE kit bag

Part of the children's learning at EYFS and Key Stage is to dress and undress independently.Ìý The children will change for PE in school to develop these important life skills.Ìý

From September 2024 the Key Stage 2 children in Polar Class 3, Climate Class 4 and Eco Class 5 are requested to come to school on Thursdays wearing their full PE kit. We teach the children in Year groups on Thursday afternoon and want to ensure time is used effectively for their PE Games lesson.ÌýOn Thursdays, it will be important for the children to ensure they also wear either their school uniform sweatshirt (with or without logo) or a school royal blue hoody.Ìý Our school PE kit is:

  • Black or navy shorts or jogging bottoms
  • Plain white t-shirt or polo shirt
  • White sports socks
  • Trainers to use inside and / or outside that may get wet or muddy
  • School royal blue sweatshirt or hoody

Children should not wear sports clothing with large sports logos on, football kit or training tops / hoodies / sweatshirts. Children with earrings will be asked to remove them for PE lessons, or cover them with Micropore tape, which we request you send in with your child.

The children will need to bring their PE kit into school on another day that their class have their second PE lesson on. They will change into this kit while in school.Ìý We will encourage the children to get used to bringing their kit in and taking it home on this day.

The children tend to have a book bag or small bag for reading books, snack etc.Ìý
